Shipping, Delivery & Support - Fast & Reliable Service

At River Poker Tables, our mission is to deliver a premium experience. We partner with trusted U.S. manufacturers (including BBO, RAM Game Room, Maitland Smith, Furniture of America, and others) to ensure fast, reliable delivery.

Because we sell large, heavy, and often custom-made furniture, our shipping and return policies are stricter than standard e-commerce stores. Please read this page carefully before purchasing.

1. Shipping & Delivery Methods

We offer Free Curbside Shipping on all orders within the continental United States.

A. Small Parcel (Décor, Accessories, Small Chairs)

  • Carriers: UPS, FedEx, or USPS.
  • Timeline: Ships in 1–3 business days. Delivers in 3–7 business days.
  • Process: Delivered to your doorstep. No signature required usually.

B. Freight / LTL Delivery (Poker Tables, Large Furniture)

  • Carriers: R&L, Estes, SAIA, Day & Ross, etc.
  • Timeline: Ships in 3–5 business days. Delivers in 5–14 business days (depending on local terminal routing).
  • The "Curbside" Rule: The driver will lower the pallet to the curb or end of your driveway. They will NOT bring the item into your home, garage, or backyard.
  • Your Responsibility: You must have 2–3 adults ready to receive the shipment and move it indoors.
  • Appointments: The carrier will call you to schedule a delivery window. You must be home to sign.

2. CRITICAL: Receiving & Inspection Policy

Your signature on the delivery receipt is a binding legal document. If you sign for a package without noting damage, you are legally stating that the item arrived in perfect condition. We cannot file a claim or offer a free replacement if you sign "Clean" on a damaged box.

You Must Follow This Procedure:

  • Inspect Before You Sign: Walk around the pallet. Look for crushed corners, holes in the box, or torn packaging.
  • If Minor Damage: Write "Subject to Inspection - Possible Concealed Damage" on the receipt before signing.
  • If Major Damage: REFUSE the shipment. Write "Refused - Damaged" on the paperwork and call us immediately at [Your Phone Number].
  • 24-Hour Rule: You must open and inspect your items within 24 hours of delivery. If you find hidden damage, email photos to support@riverpokertables.com immediately. BBO Poker Tables and Maitland Smith have strict 24-48 hour reporting windows.

3. Returns & Refunds

We want you to be happy with your table. However, due to the high cost of freight, returns are costly.

Standard Returns (Buyer's Remorse)

If you simply change your mind or the item doesn't fit:

  • Time Window: You must request a return within 30 days of delivery.
  • Condition: Item must be unused, unassembled, and in original packaging (including all straps and foam).
  • Restocking Fee: A 25% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. (This covers the manufacturer's fee to inspect and repackage the item).
  • Return Shipping: You are responsible for the return freight shipping cost.
  • Original Shipping: The cost we paid to ship the item to you (even if it was "Free Shipping" to you) will be deducted from the refund.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are Final Sale and cannot be returned:

  • Custom-Built Tables: Any BBO table with custom felt, custom armrest materials, or dealer cutouts.
  • Special Order Items: High-end items from Maitland Smith or Furniture of America ordered specifically for you.
  • Assembled Products: Once you assemble a table or chair, it cannot be returned.

4. Cancellations

  • Standard Orders: Can be canceled for a full refund if the item has not yet shipped.
  • Custom Orders (BBO/Maitland Smith): If you order a custom table, materials are often cut within 48 hours. If you cancel a custom order after production has started but before it ships, a cancellation fee equal to the cost of materials (approx. 20-50%) may apply.
  • After Shipping: If the item has already left the warehouse, it is treated as a standard Return (Subject to shipping costs + 25% restocking fee).

5. Natural Materials Disclaimer

Many of our premium brands (Maitland Smith, Sunset Trading, Furniture of America) use real wood, natural leather, and stone.

  • Variations: Slight variations in wood grain, stain depth, or leather texture are not considered defects. These are characteristics of natural materials.
  • Resolution: Returns based on "grain variation" are considered standard returns (subject to restocking fees).

6. Warranty

We uphold the full manufacturer's warranty for all our brands.

  • BBO Poker Tables: Lifetime Warranty on heavy-duty legs; 1-year on tops.
  • RAM / Sunset / FOA: Typically 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects.
  • Warranty does not cover wear and tear (e.g., felt spills, scratches from use).
